Take advantage of this free 1-hour on-demand CE activity to learn about key operational and administrative considerations when handling viral vector gene therapies in your hospital. ASHP membership is not required.
CSHP’s Catch the Wave Conference Committee is pleased to announce a Call for Posters.
Posters will be presented on Friday, November 1st, 2019, at the CSHP Annual Catch the Wave Conference which is being held at the Red Lion Hotel in Cromwell, CT.
The deadline for receipt of abstract submission is 5 p.m., October 1, 2019.
All current CSHP members registered to attend the conference* are eligible to apply. You may submit an abstract or poster that has been presented at a meeting of a different organization.
Presenting a poster is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional curriculum vitae and/or resumé, gain valuable experience in abstract and poster writing, practice presenting research data to a captive audience, and share with the pharmacy community all the great things you and your institution has been doing recently. Your poster will be prominently displayed from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and you will be given credit in the proceedings handout. In addition, your abstract, with your permission, will be printed in the CSHP News Brief and posted on the CSHP web site with credit given to your co-writers.
To submit a poster for the meeting, please complete the attached application form and include a poster abstract. Abstracts should include a purpose, methods, results and conclusions, and consist of no more than 400 words in length. All posters submitted with a complete application and abstract will be displayed. To ensure high quality presentations, we encourage all presenters to have their abstract and poster reviewed by their mentor/preceptor prior to submission. Although we encourage you to be available to discuss your poster during all breaks, you will be assigned a time to be present at your poster for an assigned poster reviewer to discuss your research. Please note: Presenting a poster at our meeting is a voluntary effort and CSHP cannot pay expenses for your participation. Student members who also volunteer to assist at Catch the Wave receive complimentary registration.

The Pharmacy Resident Research Grant awards up to eight $5,000 grants to PGY1 and PGY2 residents and those in residency–master's degree programs. The New Practitioner Pharmacist Leadership Development Research Grant awards up to eight $5,000 grants to pharmacists within 5 years of earning a pharmacy degree, including residents. *This grant program is supported by the Marianne F. Ivey Leadership Development Fund.
