Paul G. Pierpaoli Award: Amanda Williams, PharmD, BCACP, CDE, Clinical Pharmacist, Ambulatory Care, and PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program Director, Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center
The Paul G. Pierpaoli Award is given annually to a CSHP member of the highest integrity who best exemplifies the profession of pharmacy through significant contributions, of a long-term nature, to the practice of pharmacy in Connecticut and the development of high standards of pharmacy practice.
Pharmacist of the Year: Jason Lew, PharmD, BCPS, Emergency Medicine Pharmacist, Backus Hospital
The Pharmacist of the Year Award is given annually to a CSHP member of the highest integrity who best exemplifies the profession of pharmacy through their cooperation with the entire health care team, service to the profession of pharmacy and service to the community.
CSHP Student Excellence Award: Jack Malespini, PharmD, University of Connecticut and Neha Siddiqui, PharmD, University of Saint Joseph
This award is presented to students who have demonstrated leadership, provided significant contribution to the Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacy and are interested in a career in health system pharmacy.
