CSHP 2025 Board of Directors Election Is Now Open

Members of the Board have the opportunity to play a significant role in guiding the Society and influencing the future of your profession.


NOMINATIONS: JUNE 3, 2024 - AUGUST 15, 2024

BALLOTS: AUGUST 19, 2024 - SEPTEMBER 19, 2024


ELIGIBILITY

Any Active Pharmacist member of CSHP in good standing is eligible for nomination. 

Any CSHP member (active pharmacist, resident, retired pharmacist, pharmacy technician, associate, or student) may submit a candidate nomination.

Nominate another member or yourself for one of these open positions: President-Elect, Treasurer and Junior Board Member-at-Large.

OPEN POSITIONS FOR THE 2025 CSHP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In addition to the specific responsibilities listed below, each Board member should be willing to be actively engaged in the business of the Society, attend Board meetings, and support the activities of the Society as needed.
Please take a moment to review the CSHP offices and their responsibilities (from our ByLaws):

PRESIDENT-ELECT

Term of office: 3 years (one year as President-Elect, one year as President, and one year as Immediate Past President)

Charge: The President-Elect shall assume the duties of the President in their absence and serve as a Board liaison to standing committees or ad hoc task forces as determined by the President.

SECRETARY

Term of office: 2 years

Charge: The Secretary reviews the minutes of the Society’s meetings, writes correspondence for the Society and advises on other Society communications. The Secretary monitors societal actions and recommends changes to the Constitution, By-Laws and Operations as appropriate.

DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE

Term of office: 2 years (one year as Junior Board Member and following one year as Senior Board Member)

Charge: The Director-at-Large represents the membership of the Society at Board of Directors meetings; serves on the continuing education committee and assumes overall responsibility for programming; is responsible for the maintenance of Societal good standing with the continuing education accrediting agency; serves as a Board liaison to standing committees or ad hoc task forces as determined by the President.

ASHP House of Delegates: ASHP House of Delegates play a vital role in creating important professional policies that move the profession forward and advance our practice pharmacy. You must be a member of ASHP and able to attend the ASHP Summer meeting and the Spring and Fall virtual meetings. More information can be found here

Treasurer (2nd year of 2-year term): Frank Lerz, PharmD, MBA, BCPS; Pharmacy Manager at the Hospital of Central Connecticut

Director-at-Large (Senior): Alexander Levine, PharmD; Pharmacy Residency Program Director at the Hospital of Central Connecticut
