We are seeking volunteers (students and preceptors) to join us in our mission to educate the community on essential health topics. Our focus this year is on nutrition, health, and wellness, and we need your support to make a difference.

Who we are looking for and what’s involved?

• Students (P2s and P3s): If you are passionate about health education, join us to educate participants on a variety of topics, such as: vitamins, immunizations, OTCs, med storage, holistic care, as well as diabetes and hypertension. This year, students might be doing blood sugar and blood pressure screening along with the students from med and dental schools. The students prepare topics in advance and approve content with UCONN faculty.

• Preceptors: Your expertise is invaluable. We need preceptors to oversee our students, providing guidance and support. If students encounter questions they need help with, you’ll step in to provide the necessary answers.

Your participation will not only benefit the community but also provide you with valuable experience in health education and public service.
