Noelle Lambert, born in Londonderry, NH, is a Paralympian, athlete, and philanthropist whose journey began as a standout D1 lacrosse player at UMass Lowell before a moped accident led to the amputation of her left leg. Defying the odds, she returned to lacrosse just 18 months later, then transitioned to track & field, setting U.S. records in the 100m and competing at the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics and 2024 Paris Games. She also took up snowboarding, competing internationally, and will cover the 2026 Winter Paralympics for the USOPC. In 2018, she founded The Born to Run Foundation to provide prosthetics for amputees, and her inspiring story gained national attention on Survivor Season 43. Honored with numerous awards, including L’Oreal’s Women of Worth and recognition by the Boston Celtics, Noelle shares a story of resilience and determination that inspires audiences in every field.

Ellie Ouellette

Ellie Ouellette earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Western New England

University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2024. After graduation, she

went on to complete her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Hartford Hospital, where she

currently practices as a clinical pharmacist covering a variety of areas. Her clinical

interests include cardiology and internal medicine.



Shea Zichichi

Dr. Shea Zichichi is a clinical pharmacist specializing in general cardiology at Yale New Haven

Hospital. She completed both her PGY-1 and PGY-2 pharmacy residencies at Yale, where she

developed a strong foundation in evidence-based cardiovascular care. Dr. Zichichi’s professional

interests include anticoagulation management and heart transplant care. Her work bridges

clinical excellence with a strong commitment to education and innovation.

Joe Rosano

Joseph V. Rosano, PharmD is a Manager of Ambulatory Pharmacy Services at Yale New Haven Health System in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Rosano practices as a Clinical Pharmacist and Research Coordinator serving the Yale Cystic Fibrosis Care Center since 2019. Prior to his time at Yale New HavenHealth, Dr. Rosano received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy in 2017 and completed both hisPost Graduate Year One and Year Two Pharmacy Practice Residencies at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Currently, Dr. Rosano is a member of various boards and committees within the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation such as the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Connecticut Chapter, National Volunteer Leadership Council, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Education Committee. In his free time Joseph enjoys exercising, travelling, and painting.


Sam Abdelghany


Osama (Sam) Abdelghany is the Executive Director of Oncology Pharmacy Services at Yale New Haven Health. He previously was the Clinical Oncology Manager and the Coordinator of the Investigational Drug Service at Yale New Haven. Dr. Abdelghany received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and completed a residency in Oncology at Yale New Haven in 2001. He also received a Master of Health Care Administration degree from the Ohio University School of Management. He currently serves on various committees, including the Yale Cancer Center Protocol Review Committee, Yale University Science and Safety Committee, and the YaleUniversity Institutional Review Board (IRB), where he is Chair of the oncology board. Sam’s current research interest areas are real-world data with cancer therapies and oncology health economic and outcomes research.

Practical Examples of AI Use in Pharmacy Informatics - Scott Bonczek

Scott Bonczek, PharmD, MSHS-HCQ, is a Clinical Informatics Pharmacist with Optum New England, where he supports Epic EHR optimization with a focus on enhancing medication management, clinical workflows, and patient safety. He leads initiatives in e-prescribing, electronic prior authorization, real-time prescription benefits, and medication library maintenance at ProHealth Physicians, Reliant Medical Group, and Atrius Health.

Dr. Bonczek received his Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Studies from the University of Connecticut, and a Master of Health Sciences in Healthcare Quality from The George Washington University. He is the recipient of the 2020 SureScripts RxChange Champion Award and the 2021 Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacy Pharmacist of the Year Award.

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Pharma Regulatory Updates from the New Presidential Administration (1hr CEU)

Speaker: Nicolas James

Dr. Nicolas (Nic) James is an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at MindMed, a small biotech striving to deliver on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics to address unmet patient needs, including the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder. In his role, Nic is responsible for developing potential therapeutics for approval by global health authorities, such as FDA in the US and EMA in Europe. This regulatory landscape is ever-evolving, therefore Nic stays up-to-date with changes in each presidential administration to ensure he is giving his program the best chance for regulatory approval. He has recent experience developing and launching a first-in-class medication, Cobenfy (xanomeline and trospium chloride), for the treatment of schizophrenia at Karuna Therapeutics, and further developing Cobenfy for the treatment of bipolar I disorder at Bristol Myers Squibb. Nic graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2020, and now lives with his wife and 2 cats nearby in Wolcott, CT.

Brian Miller is a former professional magician turned author & speaker on human connection who has shared his magic and message for 18 years across 5 continents. He helps organizations and educators build connected cultures where everyone feels heard, understood, and valued.His TEDx talk, 'How to Magically Connect with Anyone,' has 3.6 million views and sparked a global conversation about the importance of human connection. He is also the author of 'Three New People,' which Publishers Weekly raved, “brilliantly outlines a system for deepening relationships.” Brian’s work inspires audiences to lead the human connection revolution in their communities. He believes every interaction is meaningful, and every person you meet is important.
