The 2026 Connecticut Compounding Conference focuses on helping pharmacy teams move from risk to readiness by strengthening the systems, skills, and culture that underpin high-quality compounding practice.

This full-day program emphasizes proactive quality—how pharmacies identify risk, prevent errors, and build operational readiness through environmental monitoring, aseptic technique, beyond-use dating, technician training, and effective quality management systems. Through regulator-informed education, live demonstrations, and practice-based case examples, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of expectations and practical strategies for meeting them consistently.

Sessions will explore:

  • Translating environmental monitoring data into meaningful quality decisions
  • Recognizing and preventing insanitary conditions before they trigger deficiencies
  • Extending beyond-use dates through sound formulation and stability principles
  • Reinforcing aseptic technique and cleanroom behaviors that reduce risk
  • Empowering pharmacy technicians as essential partners in quality
  • Applying CAPA and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement

Designed for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and those responsible for oversight and compliance, this conference provides actionable tools to help teams shift from reactive problem-solving to sustained readiness—embedding a culture of quality that protects patients, staff, and the pharmacy.
