The Connecticut Society of Health System Pharmacists (CSHP) is offering Connecticut PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents the opportunity to submit a clinical pearl for presentations at the Greg Gousse Residency Conference, part of the Catch the Wave event on November 9th, 2022.
Once submitted, a panel of judges will evaluate each abstract based on an objective rubric and select the top 8 abstracts. The selected abstracts will be presented in a platform format at the meeting - each 8 minutes in length with 2 minutes for questions and answers. Residents that are chosen to present clinical pearls will receive free registration to Catch the Wave 2022.
Learn more about submitting clinical pearls by viewing this PDF.
The deadline for abstract submission via email to Jessica Carona was October 5, 2022.
CALL FOR POSTERS
CSHP’s Catch the Wave Conference Committee is pleased to announce a call for posters.
The deadline for receipt of abstract submission is October 25, 2022.
All current CSHP members registered to attend the conference are eligible to apply. You may submit an abstract or poster that has been presented at a meeting of a different organization.
Presenting a poster is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional curriculum vitae and/or resumé, gain valuable experience in abstract and poster writing, practice presenting research data to a captive audience, and share with the pharmacy community all the great things you and your institution have been doing recently. In addition to presenting your abstract, with your permission, will be printed in the CSHP News Brief and posted on the CSHP web site with credit given to your co-writers.
