The 2020-2021 CSHP Resident Task Force has hit the ground running, overcoming multiple obstacles that this year has brought current and new residents by creating multiple new opportunities. The Task Force has implemented 4 new subcommittees; Advocacy, Professional Development, Networking and Social Media, with 18 residents from across the state hard at work to connect and inform their peers.
- The Advocacy subcommittee has prepared their first issue of their legislative update, which provides important State, Federal and COVID-19 updates.
- The Professional Development subcommittee has collected CVs from residents and students to be disseminated to clinical pharmacists in the field for feedback. These reviews, along with upcoming Mock Interviews will help residents and students prepare for “Virtual Interviewing” and strengthen their applications.
- Lastly, the Networking and Social Media subcommittees have been creating new ways for residents across the state to interact and connect including regular social media initiatives such as spotlights and events including “Speed Networking” opportunities, Ginger-Bread House competitions and T-Shirt design contests!
