Continuing Education

CSHP provides professional development opportunities by offering quality, live, programs and conferences, all providing ACPE-approved credit for both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and featuring a wide range of topics. Formats vary from lectures to tours to poster presentations to roundtable discussions. They are an exceptional opportunity to share with and learn from other pharmacy professionals in our increasingly specialized profession.

Our single evening CE programs, preceded by a light supper, are typically held in January, March, June and September. The programs typically attract 40 to 60 hospital-based pharmacists, residents, pharmacy technicians and students from around Connecticut. The location rotates among the hospitals of our members. The programs are accredited for 1 to 2 hours hour of ACPE-approved continuing education. In June, we present the "The Great Eight", an annual spotlight on our resident members.

Current members and the hosting facility's pharmacy staff may register free of charge; nonmembers are welcome but must pay a registration fee. Check individual meetings for our registration policy.
